This is your chance to learn as much as you can and make an informed decision at the polls! If you'd like to propose a question for our moderators that you want asked to the candidates, submissions will be taken from August 17 - September 7. The link will be live, here. Written questions will also be accepted at each event. Indicate which Forum you would like your question directed to.

A Few Notes on Forums
- Cost: free and open to the public and press.
- How It Works: LWV Candidate Forums follow the nonpartisan, unbiased and impartial format established by the League of Women Voters Minnesota. A trained LWV member will moderate the forum. The League does not endorse political parties or candidates for public office.
Looking for Volunteers for the Forums
We need volunteers for every forum! Can you put up signs, answer questions, or hand out note cards for audience questions? And during the event, could you circulate the audience, picking up the question cards and bring them to the moderator? If you are a LWV member and can help out, please sign up using the Contact Us form, and specify which forum you'll be attending. And thank you, in advance!

Hennepin County Attorney Forum on 6/25/26
The Lake Minnetonka Plymouth Area chapter hosted a Voter Forum on June 25, 2026 to learn more about the Hennepin County Attorney Candidates. Hennepin County Attorney Forum on 7/21/26
The Minneapolis chapter also hosted a forum; it was held on July 21, 2026. Its recording can be found on YouTube: the Hennepin County Commissioner District 2 Primary Candidate Forum . District 2 encompasses Minneapolis, Golden Valley, Medicine Lake, part of SE Plymouth and St. Anthony.
